On Thursday, July the 31st, 2025, upon the proposal of the Scientific Council, IESL is organizing a one-day memorial event in honor of our excellent and much-loved colleague and friend, Costas Kalpouzos.
Kostas was a versatile and irreplaceable member of FORTH-IESL, with a decisive contribution to all matters of the institute’s operation.
The event will take place in the “Costas Fotakis” seminar room in the main building of FORTH at Voutes-Heraklion, from 14:00 to 19:30. The program of the event will include scientific lectures and personal reminiscences by colleagues and friends of Costas. The details of the program will be announced in due time.
The event is open to all, but registration is required not later than July 18th, 2025.
